We are looking for…

Zebra BI is looking for a Partner Account Manager to work with Professional BI and data services providers. These companies use Zebra BI tools to provide the best service to their clients and can drive sales of Zebra BI SaaS licenses.

The PAM will manage the partner program. He will ensure that new Zebra BI partners are attracted into the partner program, existing partners renew their commitment to Zebra BI and the most successful partners grow their business with Zebra BI. The PAM will act as a partner advocate and work with the Zebra BI internal departments to ensure that partner needs are understood and satisfied. The PAM will drive joint business development, marketing and sales with the partner, and handle deal registration.

The PAM will be a member of the Zebra BI Customer Advocacy Team and work closely with sales, marketing and support.

Responsibilities

You'll help the team hit our ambitious revenue and growth targets by:

  • Managing the partner program.
  • Attracting new partners.
  • Managing existing partner relationships.
  • Driving joint new business with partners.
  • Communicating with partners through email, phone or web/video communications to understand their needs, explain product value and close deals.
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting partner and customer relationships.
  • Managing resources, including negotiating contracts and agreements within the context of company policy to maximize profit.
  • Responding to partners in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Resolving complaints and preventing additional issues by improving processes.
  • Assisting partners with RFIs and RFPs, quotes and purchase orders.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate partner and joint client need fulfillment.
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about the BI market, partner network and client behavior.
  • Keeping accurate records pertaining to inventory and partner account notes.
  • Using and constantly updating the CRM and other internal systems.
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services.
  • Maintaining close, positive working relationships with co-workers.
  • Acting as a client advocate with a focus on improving the partnership experience.
  • Being proactive about solving problems even if it’s outside of your area and preparedness to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in sales or account management
  • Understanding of partner networks and channel sales
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, sales, economics, communications or related field
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is essential
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability and strong problem solving skills
  • Positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in sales or partner account management
  • Additional education in business, sales, economics, communications or related fields
  • Experience with IT sales
  • Understanding of the IT industry
  • Good negotiation skills that allow for value-based contract negotiations at senior level
  • Excellent project, time and customer management skills
