We're looking for an ambitious, effortlessly creative, and committed Web UX Owner to join the Zebra BI marketing team. You'll play a vital role, making sure our website delivers a remarkable experience for our users, and help spread the word about our powerful data visualization tools.

To be successful at this job, it really helps if you're a numbers person and appreciate the beauty of data. Your job is going to be to make sure the Zebra BI website is worth visiting, for business analysts, financial controllers, finance directors, and all other data enthusiasts who are tired of old-school manual and delayed reporting.

It's key that you're a hands-on creative person, able to step in the shoes of our users to understand their needs, diligent with your project and time management, and that you let data lead your creative process.

This role will focus on website experience improvements, making sure that you deliver a frictionless trial signup process and that help is easily available to all users. You'll be as comfortable as slugging it out alone on optimizing the CTR of a single page, as you will be collaborating, teaming up with our other content, social media, and design folks to create a broader brand experience and further build our thought-leadership in the category.

At Zebra BI we build powerful tools that help the world's top companies visualize their data in Excel and Power BI to get insights into how well their business is doing. Since our launch in 2014, more than 2,000 companies powered their decisions with Zebra BI visuals, among them Philips, Uber, Coca-Cola, Heineken, Duracell, and many others. Apparently, our visuals are so powerful, even Microsoft uses them for internal reporting.

Zebra BI website attracted 200,000+ people in 2020. This year we expect this number to double. Are you ready to join our team and make the experience for them a truly remarkable one?

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with the team to develop plans for improving the experience both at zebrabi.com and help.zebrabi.com
  • Taking those plans, turning them into deliverable chunks with measurable outcomes, and then EXECUTING these plans. Yes, this means building a new landing page, tweaking copy & design, fixing the navigation... you name it. Whatever is needed to make things better for our users. The rest of the team will help you, of course, but we expect you to take full accountability for your job.
  • Iterating. Planning and executing A/B tests and squeezing every last drop out of a page before you scrap it.
  • ... But also driving brand consistency! You'll need to make sure all our online presence reflects the Zebra BI brand and our position as the category leader.
  • Researching. A lot of it. From businesses in our industry to completely different players that might provide inspiration for good-practices that we can test. Did we mention user testing yet?
  • Making sure our trial sign up workflow is frictionless. This is our top priority in 2021.
  • Making sure our trial users get a delightful onboarding and all resources they need to get the best out of their trial and decide they can't live without Zebra BI visuals anymore. (The second top priority!)
  • Sitting in meetings with the marketing team. Being up to speed with everything that's going on across all our marketing areas and actively contributing to making them successful with your skills and knowledge.

This position is for you if you…

  • Are a focused, enthusiastic person who is obsessed with a good UX. Years of experience are important but not as important as your drive and talent
  • Are someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, with plenty of input from across departments (we have lots of opinions at Zebra BI, you will need to manage them properly)
  • Have a very high proficiency in the English language
  • It's a plus if you have experience with working with tools & platforms such as WordPress, HubSpot, Gong, Google Analytics, Hotjar. Of course, that stack includes dedicated UX tools as well, however, we will leave it up to you to decide which one(s) would be the best fit (our main designer and web developer are currently using Figma).
  • Know when it's time to brainstorm ideas... and when it's time to get things done. Very important.
  • Are a positive person, show up for your colleagues, and are as willing to help them as you're happy when they have some tweaks to suggest
