QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed.  
• Performing analysis of the test results. 
• Suggesting improvements based on the previous results of testing. 
• Working in close cooperation with our development team and participating in the team meetings. 
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and issues to Product Manager and QA Lead. 
• Identifying areas for process improvement within the QA team and contribute to ongoing efforts to enhance testing practices and methodologies.  
• Getting acquainted with new technologies and solutions.

Requirements:  

• At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles. 
• Ability to write clear and concise bug reports and test documentation. 
• Strong attention to details and good feeling for UI/UX. 
• Understanding of software testing methodologies (e.g. black-box testing, white-box testing, regression testing, smoke testing, exploratory testing). 
• Coding skills (Javascript/Typescript + Playwright/Cypress/Selenium) 
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.  
• Strong troubleshooting skills to identify the root cause of defects and issues.  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and flexibility. 
• Adaptability to changing priorities and requirements in a fast-paced environment. 
• Understanding of data visualizations.  

Nice-to-have:  

• Experience with SaaS. 
• Experience with Jira or other bug reporting / task management tools. 
• Experience with e2e automated tests (Playwright). 
• Experience with git (GitHub). 
• Knowledge/understanding of CI/CD deployment pipelines and their integration with testing purposes. 
• Experience with Power BI or other financial reporting tools
