So, what’s new? 🎉

Uniform layout

Zebra BI Cards is now the only visual on the market that lets you seamlessly switch between three different layouts for displaying KPIs: custom, row, and now also uniform. What does that mean?

To achieve the same size for all cards, simply go to the global toolbar at the top, and select the third layout option - uniform. The change will happen automatically. Can this be any better? Yes! By making the cards bigger or smaller you will see a neat tooltip next to them which will tell you the exact size of the cards.

Whether you want to make some cards bigger or have them all the same size, Zebra BI Cards visual is here for you. 💪

Custom background color

The highly anticipated feature for applying custom background color to Zebra BI Cards visual is here! 💥 And that's not all, read further!

You can now apply the same background color to all cards at once. Simply go to the global toolbar, click on ‘Design,’ and pick your custom color. If you want to, you can also set here the global border color. However, sometimes you wish to highlight only a specific KPI. To do that, open the selected card in Focus mode and select the background color there.

This is perfect for adjusting reports to company branding, highlighting specific KPIs, or using Zebra BI Cards in dark-themed reports. But remember, consistency is key when it comes to colors in reports! 😎

2D small multiples

What is better than the Zebra BI Small multiples? Zebra BI 2D small multiples! And they are making a comeback!

The Zebra BI Charts 6.0 data model was updated to matrix view which enabled us to re-launch the functionality of multi-dimensional small multiples. To create such a chart, simply add an additional measure to the ‘Group’ placeholder and you will get a 2D matrix.

Of course, the chart is perfectly scaled which ensures a correct interpretation of data. Awesome, right? 🚀

Legend entries

This feature with Zebra BI Charts 6.0 gives even more flexibility to the users. Why?

From now on, you can rename the legend entries directly on the visual. Simply, open the drop-down and insert your own data. The same setting can also be used with the integrated charts in Zebra BI Cards visual. Simply go to the Settings pane and open the newly added Legend section.

This is another step towards improving the Zebra BI Charts’ legend. Stay tuned for more. 🤓

Other Improvements

Zebra BI Tables 6.0

  • Submitted as a completely new visual to AppSource.
  • Huge performance optimization that will load your data in complex matrixes with hierarchies up to 50x faster.
  • Supporting all drill options (drill up, drill down, expand all down one level, go to the next level)
  • New highlighting feature
  • Calculations manager to give you a complete overview of all Zebra BI custom calculations
  • Bookmark all settings

Zebra BI Charts 6.0

  • Corrected the inconsistency on relative variance in total columns when the ’Treat nulls as zeros’ setting is set to off.
  • Added interaction setting for Legend settings.
  • Changed the default setting of the data label density back to ‘Highest.’

Zebra BI Cards 1.3

  • Disabled the renaming through the measure rename for everything except the single card title. Variances are now pulled from the settings page ‘’Legend’’ and display actual (AC), plan (PL), or forecast (FC) as default.
  • Fixed the bug where suppressing null cards did not reflect on the dimension which resulted in the wrong value being shown on other visuals when this card was used for filtering.
