BI Specialist 

We're looking for a senior business intelligence expert and data visualization enthusiast who knows Microsoft Power BI inside out, is comfortable putting AI to work, and wants to help the world's leading companies get the most out of our solutions, while building long-lasting, trustworthy relationships with key customers. 

As BI Solutions Director you will own how our customers succeed with Zebra BI - from the first demo to long-term adoption. You'll show potential and existing customers how to implement our products quickly, make sure they understand the features and the reasoning behind them, and build the demos, content and internal tooling that make that possible at scale. 

What you'll do

• Consult customers on implementing Power BI and Zebra BI products, from first workshop to rollout. 
• Run and build demos, prototypes and case studies with Zebra BI products. 
• Work directly with internal champions and top-level management on the customer side, in their language, about their numbers. 
• Bring back what you learn from customers into how we build and position the product. 
• Work closely with our technical support and product teams. 
• Produce educational material and documentation: articles, videos, walkthroughs, sample reports. 
• Help shape social media content (LinkedIn, X, YouTube). 
• Support internal product and sales enablement. 

Qualifications & requirements 

AI-Enabled BI & Reporting 

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI (or a comparable BI platform). 
• Solid grasp of core BI concepts: star schema, performance best practices, semantic models, DAX, Power Query. 
• Genuine interest in data visualization and a good sense of user experience. 
• Previous experience with building reports and dashboards for different business areas (Finance, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Production, HR, etc.). 
• Practical experience with an AI coding agent — Claude Code, Codex or equivalent — used for real work, not just experiments. 
• Familiarity with the Power BI Report Authoring skill and the PBIR report format: authoring and modifying pages, visuals, filters, slicers and themes as files, then validating the result. 
• Experience with the Power BI modeling MCP server and agent-assisted semantic modeling. 
• Working knowledge of the modern Microsoft data stack — Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Direct Lake, Fabric Apps — and a sense of where each piece fits. 

Working with customers 

• Previous customer-facing work: consulting, training, presales or solution architecture. 
• Able to turn a vague business problem into a concrete BI solution — running discovery with finance or ops stakeholders and translating what they say into a data model and a report design. 
• Comfortable navigating a large organization — aligning IT, a BI center of excellence and business stakeholders who don't necessarily agree with each other. 
• Experience driving adoption after go-live: onboarding, enablement, building internal champions, and knowing when a rollout has actually landed. 
• Willing to have the hard conversation — pushing back on scope, or telling a customer their model is the problem, without losing the relationship. 
• Full professional proficiency in English. 
• Strong written English — clear follow-ups, documentation and proposals, not just fluent conversation. 
• Precise, systematic, proactive, communicative, and team player. 

Nice to have 

• IBCS knowledge or certification. 
• Presence in the BI community through public speaking or BI content creation. 
• Deep stakeholder management experience gained in a top-tier consulting firm or in a large enterprise.
