The Global Excel Summit is a premium, award-winning conference, bringing together the brightest minds from the world of Excel. Their mission is to educate and inspire professionals, corporate teams, and students about Microsoft Excel and propel them to greater heights in the workplace or academic setting. 

Over the past year, AI has rocked the world. Therefore, this year’s theme is AI Exceleration, focusing on Excel improvements, that have come thick and fast over the last few years. Rapid advancements mean it’s impossible to ignore, and anyone who does risks getting left in the dust. Instead of fearing the change, we embrace it.

Over 30 speakers worldwide will spread their wealth of knowledge as they deliver the sessions, including Microsoft MVPs, certified experts, trainers, and social media sensations.

Event ambassador and six times Microsoft MVP Leila Gharani is one of those, known for her highly successful YouTube channel with a myriad of Excel-related content. She has been influential in promoting the summit to the widest possible audience. 

About the event

Five tracks feature across the three days focusing on a particular area that is dedicated to harnessing the power of AI, to unlock Excel's full potential.

This year for the first time ever, Global Excel Summit is going hybrid. That means an exclusive in-person offering to accompany the virtual experience. The event will be held in London, at Vue Cinema, located only 1.5 kilometres from St. Pancras International, and streamed live through a hybrid event platform called Hublio.

On the first day of the summit Leila Gharani will present the opening keynote as part of the Tech & Innovation track. Attendees will also enjoy product demos from software developers and sessions from Microsoft MVPs such as Oz du Soleil, Bob Umlas, and our own Zebra BI Founder, Andrej Lapajne.

Day two will host the Finance & Accounting and Data Visualisation & Analytics tracks, delving into topics like Interactive Data Visualisation for decision support using Microsoft Excel by Carlos Barboza, Power Pivot’s must-know secrets for every user by Gašper Kamenšek and more.

On the final day, the conference will be hold online-only, with the Power Stack track that will demonstrate the benefits of Power Query, Power Pivot, and Power BI. This is followed by Formulas & Automation track and a panel discussion on The future of Excel in an AI world.

Separate from the three-day conference are several Masterclasses, special in-depth sessions led by world-renowned Microsoft MVPs. These delve into Excel's advanced features and are designed to equip you with some of the most sought-after skills in the workplace.
