Principal Evangelist - Power BI & Fabric

Keep your voice. Get a bigger stage.

Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and AI are changing fast. Zebra BI Tables+ and Charts+ have just launched, Zebra AI for Fabric is now generally available, and we’re continuing to push the boundaries of how business teams turn data into better decisions.

We’re looking for a recognized Power BI and Microsoft Fabric expert who combines deep analytics expertise with teaching, storytelling and community presence. You understand how AI is changing the BI landscape, actively follow emerging AI trends and tools, and can connect these developments with real-world analytics and business use cases.

You’ll represent Zebra BI externally, work directly with customers, create educational content, and bring insights from the market and community back into our product and strategy.

How we can work together

The right person may already have a successful consultancy, community presence or independent platform, and we don’t want that to be a barrier.

We’re open to different ways of working together, from full-time employment to a long-term partnership or consulting arrangement. What matters most is finding the right person and creating meaningful impact together.

What you'll do

You’ll become one of the public faces of Zebra BI in the Power BI and Fabric community. You’ll share practical knowledge, explain complex analytics topics clearly, and help shape the conversation around the future of business analytics.

A key part of the role will be staying close to how AI is transforming BI and analytics. You’ll follow emerging AI capabilities, tools and trends, understand what they mean for Power BI, Fabric and business users, and connect them to practical use cases for our customers and community.

You’ll also work directly with enterprise customers through workshops and advisory sessions. What you learn from customers and the wider community will feed directly into our Product, Solutions and Marketing teams.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Build and host a Zebra BI YouTube series
  • Lead webinars for our global community and customers
  • Run workshops with enterprise customers
  • Represent Zebra BI at Power BI and Fabric user groups, FabCon and other relevant industry events
  • Explore and communicate emerging AI trends in the BI space, connecting new capabilities with practical analytics and business use cases

Who we’re looking for

You bring deep hands-on expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, combined with strong business and customer understanding. You actively follow developments in AI and AI-driven analytics and can connect emerging AI capabilities and trends with practical BI and business use cases.

You’re a confident communicator who can make complex topics clear and engaging, whether you’re speaking to customers, presenting on stage, hosting a webinar or creating content. You have your own point of view on where analytics is heading and can translate technology and market developments into relevant insights for customers and the wider community.

Experience with AI tools or AI-enabled BI solutions, IBCS, or enterprise consulting would be an advantage. You may already have an established presence in the Power BI and Fabric community through Microsoft MVP status, conferences, webinars, YouTube or other content, but what matters most is the expertise, credibility and curiosity to build that influence further with Zebra BI.

What you get

We’ll give you the platform and support to focus on your expertise and grow your impact:

  • Editing and production support for your content
  • Promotion and distribution through Zebra BI channels
  • A standing slot on our monthly Live Demo and webinars
  • Access to enterprise customers and real-world analytics use cases
  • Introductions and access to relevant people and communities in the Power BI and Fabric ecosystem, including Microsoft
  • Dedicated internal support for onboarding and knowledge exchange with our Product, Solutions and Marketing teams

Perks & benefits

  • Remote-first, with the option to work from our office in Tehnološki park Ljubljana, Brdo.
  • Flexible schedule – organize your time around your own rhythm and productivity.
  • Competitive compensation, aligned with your experience, expertise and location.
  • Paid time off to rest and recharge.
  • The best tools and quality equipment, including paid access to the AI tooling you work with daily.
  • Professional development opportunities, including a dedicated conference and learning budget.

Who you’ll work with

You’ll work closely with colleagues from our Solutions, Product and Product Marketing teams, as well as other teams across Zebra BI.

You’ll also have direct access to customers and the wider Power BI and Fabric community, allowing you to exchange knowledge, stay close to what’s happening in the market and bring those insights back into Zebra BI.
