Importing Zebra BI visuals into your Power BI

To start creating stunning reports with the Zebra BI visuals for Power BI, you just need to import them from the Microsoft AppSource into your Power BI Desktop. To unlock the full (Pro) version, you have to activate your Zebra BI license key as well.

Below you will find instructions for importing the Free version and for activating your Pro license.

Don't worry, it's super easy and takes only a few minutes. 😊

Import visuals from Microsoft AppSource

Open your Power BI Desktop.

In Power BI Desktop, go to the visualization pane, click on the three dots, and select Get more visuals. This opens the Microsoft AppSource.

In the AppSource, search for Zebra BI. There are two Zebra BI custom visuals Zebra BI Charts and Zebra BI Tables so make sure to import both of them.

First, select Zebra BI Charts and click Add.

In Power BI Desktop you will see a confirmation that the visual has been imported successfully. Simply confirm with OK.

Repeat the same thing for Zebra BI Tables.

Now you should see both Zebra BI custom visuals in your visualization pane.

To make it easier to access your new Zebra BI visuals, our friendly advice is to pin them to your visualizations pane. To do that, right-click the visual and select “Pin to visualizations pane”. Do this for both of the visuals.
