The news: commenting in view mode is live

Until now, they usually could not. Commenting on a Power BI report meant edit rights, so the explanation came back as a screenshot in an email or through a complex workaround, and whoever built the report typed it in by hand. Every review meeting, the same loop.

Zebra BI Tables+ and Zebra BI Charts+, our two newest Power BI visuals, close it. Report viewers comment directly on the data point, in view mode, with no edit access. The comments stay in your own Microsoft 365, and your existing Zebra BI reports keep working exactly as they do today.
