It's a wrap: Zebra BI’s year in review

December is here and we’ve been so busy working on exciting new projects (hint, hint!) we almost missed it. So before we say goodbye to 2022 and focus on the challenges ahead, let’s just take a moment to reflect on where we’ve been and what we’ve accomplished, in large part thanks to your support.

Let’s talk numbers. Zebra BI currently counts around 1.5 million users and 3,000 clients from 114 countries around the world. We’re super happy to be able to help such an extraordinary number of people up their reporting game, be it in Power BI or Office.

Zebra BI Tables 6.0: the fastest custom matrix visual

This year, we released the highly anticipated Zebra BI Tables 6.0. The all-new version of our flagship product came with an insane performance update, making your data loading time in tables with hierarchies up to 50x faster.

This has established Tables 6.0 as the fastest custom matrix visual ever created and brought us another step closer to helping you make your reports truly actionable. Zebra BI for Office: a game-changer for modern reporting

Having delivered Actionable Reporting to the Power BI community, it was high time we had done the same for Excel users everywhere. Although an incredibly useful reporting tool, Excel was in desperate need of an upgrade. Plain lists of numbers with an occasional graph just didn't cut it anymore.

That’s why the launch of Zebra BI for Office was another huge step for us. The all-new tool has elevated native Excel and PowerPoint visualizations and facilitated data democratization, delivering actionable insights to Office users everywhere. Your phenomenal feedback has exceeded all our expectations, making all our hard work so, so worth the effort.

Live demo sessions: a step-by-step approach for guaranteed success

Having an expert take you through the process of using a new product makes all the difference when it comes to familiarizing yourself with it. That’s why we hold regular live demo sessions, where you can ask any questions that pop into your head and have our BI specialists answer them on the spot.

You can think of them as a direct communication channel with our experts, where we hold monthly discussions on how to create better reports. This year, we’ve held a total of 8 and had the pleasure of helping over 800 people altogether. The next one will take place in January – make sure not to miss it if you have any questions or concerns.

On top of that, we’ve conducted over 300 expert sessions which helped solve many of your problems and speed up your transformation to Actionable Reporting. Needless to say, we’ve also received a ton in return! We’re super grateful for all your feedback and suggestions – in the end, they’ve helped us create better products.

For everyone looking to make actionable reports fast, we’ve created 4 report templates for Power BI and over 30 for Excel. Because what better way to do it than by using pre-defined best-practice examples, where all you have to do is just replace the data with yours!

Our template library features a wide range of use cases, covering everything from sales to marketing, finances, HR and more, so make sure to check it out! You may just find exactly what you’re looking for. And just a heads-up: we plan to produce many more templates next year. You can take this as our new year’s resolution.

We've held a total of 5 live learning sessions. The topics covered everything from consolidating KPI data to using time intelligence functions, optimizing your report speed, converting boring reports to true data stories and bringing Actionable Reporting to every user out there.

Zebra BI events: taking Actionable Reporting to every single report user

2022 has been filled with many exciting events, the biggest one for sure being ACTION. Joining us at the first Actionable Reporting Summit were some of the world’s leading companies including Microsoft, Bayer, PwC and Liebherr, who shared their knowledge on transforming the business with insightful reports.

Over the course of the day, we held a total of 9 different panels and sessions on how to up your reporting game. The insights shared were so valuable that we decided to save and offer them on-demand, so you can always revisit them if need be. Feel free to check them out at your convenience. They’re a great source of inspiration.
